About me...

I was born in 1949 in Szombathely, Hungary, into a family of teachers. It was after I had completed my education in the Teacher Training College that I became a man of stones. My master was István Bencsik, the accomplished Kossuth-prize winning sculptor. Initially, I participated in construction commissions such as of banks, cafeterias, or private homes. Later, I worked on sculptures, fountains and sculpture replicas that were to be installed in open spaces. I participated in the above commissions alongside renowned sculptors and architects – such as István Bencsik, Sándor Rétfalvi, Ferenc Tischler, Colin Foster, Ádám Farkas, Sándor Dévényi, Endre Borza, Péter Vékony, Margit Pellényi, or Klári B. Soós, among others.
Recently, I have been sculpting customized, beautifully carved mortuary and sepulcher monuments related to burial culture. I have also been making primarily religious and sacramental sculptures based on my own ideas and concepts.
